Rachel Avella Kay Yeomans
I am so excited for Saturday because my niece gets to come home from the hospital. When she was born she weighed 5 pounds 6 ounces. She was a very small, adorable baby. But overnight she gained 7 ounces, so now she weighs 5 pounds 13 ounces. I am so excited that she is finally here. I can already see her in the adorable outfits everyone bought her. I, for one, and this is not an awesome based opinion, think that the outfits I bought her are the most adorable outfits. I was a little spend happy because I alone spent $250.00 on clothes, blankets, a stroller, and lots more. My mom was mad because I beat her to buying it. I made sure I got the one that i remembered Amy said she wanted. It was not very cheap but it was worth it. She is coming home soon and I can't wait. I don't have any pics uploaded yet, but when I get them i will show you. Since i don't have any pics, i will get random pics of babies off of Google images.

Random Stuff
So, i have no idea what i should write about so i am going to talk about random stuff, today. Well, the science olympiad trip is saturday. I have to get up early, 5 o freakin' clock in the morning. The bus leaves at 5:45. I am in solar system and write it do it with Caysie, simple machines with Trinity, and dynamic planet with Jentry. I hate, sorry jaylyn, strongly dislike, dynamic planet, and am almost certain that we will get last. No offense jentry, but i have no faith in us. I think trinity and I will do a pretty good job this time, if we remember to take a calculator.
Now, just for fun, I am going to tell you some jokes just like emmy does, and emmy, don't get mad at me.

The Basketball Tournament
I am so proud of my basketball team because we got 1st place in the tournament. We had to play Hardin Central, Southwest, and Tina. To get 1st place we had to play Tina. Not that it was a tough game or anything, it is that everyone was about to freakin' foul out. Averi had 4 fouls,Hayes had 4 fouls, Graci was in for like 2 seconds and she already had two fouls. I
think Trinity had three fouls, and Jentry even had some. Abbey even had fouls and she is not the kind of person who fouls a lot. I have no idea what happened. She was guarding Alleiah? don't know how to spell that, and the ref said foul red, 10 white, 13. I was like, WHAT THE HECK!!! Then when she was set on the bench, she said that Alleiah had her in like a choke-hold-thingy, and she like moved her hand and a foul got called on both of them. I am really proud of myself and my team and how well we did. I would have been freakin' mad if we lost against TA. I would like to take this chance to thank my whole team for working so well together and not fighting. So THANKS GUYZZZZ!!!!!
I really hope you njoyed my blog, and here are some cool pictures of basketballs!
And here is a picture of a crazy guy playing basketball...

Summer Softball
I am so excited because softball is coming up this summer. There is now going to be two softball middle league girls teams this year because there are so many girls wanting to play. Roger Copple and Clint Heussner are the coaches for one team and Lesslie Norris and some other person i cant remember are the other coaches.
I remember my first year playing softball, Jason Heussner hit a pop fly to me and I was still gettin' used to catching it above my head. When he hit the ball, it came straight to me. It hit my glove, rolled down my arm and conked me right in the head. Everyone laughed at me, but I could especially hear Jaylyn above everyone else laughing. There was this one time we were running bases and we were told to round the bases. Well, I guess i went out too far and I tripped on a piece of the fence that had been sticking out for a long time. I stood up and I had a huge scratch going all the way down my leg. Jason looked at me and said, "God dang (well, everyone knows he didn't say dang), "if i were you i would be crying. You are definitely your mother's daughter." Whatever that meant.
Even though I get injured playing pretty much any sport, I still play them because I have lots of fun. Who cares about getting a few cuts, scrapes, and bruises?

Patriot's Pen
I was so nervous yesterday, because I was going to have to re-read my VFW speech in front of some strange people and some veterans. I only knew two of the veterans. They were Jim Barnes and Bob Mattox. i thought Bailey and I were going to have read our speeches again, but all that was happened was that we got our rewards and got some pictures taken. I was nervous for no reason at all.
I am going to show you a video of Bailey and me reading our speeches for the first time... Okay... maybe not, I can't find a video, so I will just keep talking (typing).
I am going back to the time I first read my speech. I was so nervous that when I went down the bleachers i almost fell. When I was in the middle of reading, the nice old lady knocked the freakin' microphone down and i just kept reading while she was messing with it! Finally, she just said, "Just hold it!" Isn't that nice to interrupt me! NOT! That is when my face got really red. I could hear my whole class, EMMY, JAYLYN, ABBEY, CAYSIE, and the rest of you laugh at me. So there I was trying to hold my hand steady so I could actually read my paper. I kept studdering, so no one could understand and I got made fun of for a couple days after the incident.
And guess what, after I got done reading and started to walk back up the bleachers, I said, "I SUCKED!" I meant to whisper it, but it was a lot louder than that. The whole gym laughed at me! EVERYONE. You know what, GUYZZZ, just wait until you have to read a sucky speech infront of the whole school. Better just start out holdng the microphone, so your face does not get as red as a cherry, In my case, redder than a cherry. Just wait!!! Then Bailey and I can laugh at you for it. So HA HA HA! HA! HA! HA!

Science Olympiad
Last weekend, Mrs. Foster took the Science Olympiad kids to UCM inWarrensburg so we could use our brains to win medals and, wait, there's more, ribbons. There were so many people there that i almost got lost. Most of the kids from Hale placed and won something. I was so proud of Jaylyn and myself because we got second place in meteorology. When we went up on stage, every time they said another school's name our mouths kept getting bigger and bigger. When they finally said, "Second place, Hale," Jentry said I actually looked disappointed because we did not win first. I mean, I was a little disappointed, because we worked so hard, (except for when I almost fell asleep during the test and Jaylyn poked me in the nose with a pencil) and I had gotten my hopes up that we would get first.
I was proud of our whole school because we placed in almost all of the events that we even entered. There were only a few people who did not place, but I am not going to mention their names, but at least they tried their hardest. And next time I will make sure I get enough sleep so Jaylyn does not do more of the test than I did like this I promise, MAYBE...
Anyways, this is a picture of the medals Jaylyn and I won for our hard work. Dang it, now I feel like a nerd...

Randy Naddler
Wednesday, a man named Randy Naddler came to our school and told us about his yearly trip around the world. He takes a trip to a foreign place once every year to learn about their culture. This year he went to New Zealand. He learned about their "War Dance" and showed us a video on how to do it. He said that he thinks that our high school basketball team to do it before our next home game to intimidate the other team. I think that it would be funny to see some of the guys on the team do the "War Dance," especially Haden. I still can't believe that he actually bungee jumped from 134 meters up in the air. I would have had 3 heart attacks in a row.
I learned a lot about New Zealand and its peoples' culture. I cannot wait 'til next year when he comes back to tell our school about his next trip. I hope it is as interesting and fun as it was last year, the year before that, and the year before that! Here is a picture of what Randy Naddler looks like.
